Nobody warns you about the scar. They prepare you for the surgery, the recovery, the first night home — and then weeks later you're standing in front of the mirror looking at a line that itches, pulls when you reach, and catches on the waistband of everything you own.
So you start researching, at 3am, one-handed. And what you find is a wall of tubes, oils, patches and roll-your-own tape that all want you to add another step to a day that has no room left in it. Most of it involves cutting silicone to size with kitchen scissors while a newborn sleeps on your other arm.
Pre-cut, so there is nothing to work out
Each sheet is already 20cm × 4cm — sized and shaped for a standard C-section incision, with room to overlap the edges. You pat the area dry, peel, position, press. That's the whole routine. Three steps, once, and then you forget about it.

How to use
- Clean & dry. Wash the area and dry it thoroughly. Silicone will not adhere to damp skin.
- Peel & position. Lift the backing liner and lay the sheet over the scar, leaving a small overlap past each end.
- Smooth & press. Press it down without stretching it.

Before you start
Wait until your incision is fully closed and healed, with no scabs or open areas, before applying anything to it. If you're unsure whether you're ready, or if the skin becomes irritated, check with your doctor or midwife first — they know your recovery and we don't.
